The Banksia Garden Club meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 10.00 am at the Community Arts Centre.

At each meeting a guest speaker is introduced to talk on a wide range of gardening related topics, so there is always something new to learn for an interested gardener.

A floral competition is run at each meeting with sections for Roses, individual flowers, natives and floral arrangements.

We also have a plant stall and members are encouraged to grow plants for the stall and to buy plants from those displayed.

The club organises coach trips to garden shows, parks and nurseries, several times each year.

An biennial friendship day, to which members of other gardening clubs are invited is always a bright and happy occasion, featuring guest speakers, stalls and lunch, prepared by our members.

Banksia Garden Club is a very friendly group and is always happy to welcome new members and to them feel at home.

Annual membership is $10.00.
